ÉÙ¸¾×ÔÅÄ Full-Tuition Scholarship at Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy
ÉÙ¸¾×ÔÅÄ has partnered with Accademia Teatro alla Scala, one of the most renowned institutions for training professionals in the performing arts, and Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business (MIP), an internationally recognized management school. The full-tuition scholarship of €17,500 (approximately $20,000) will be awarded to an Italian American graduate student who is seeking a Master’s Degree in Performing Arts Management.
Application Deadlines Program Details Language Program is Conducted: 80% in English
20% in Italian
Duration: 18 months (January – June of the following year) Hours Required: 1,500 hours of combined education and training Work Experience: Placement in a three to six month internship during the program at a performing arts institution in Italy or abroad, which includes networking opportunities for future employment Teaching Staff: 100 specialists in theatre and management who work with performing arts institutions in Italy and abroad Curriculum: Combination of classroom meetings, exercises and simulations, direct theatre experience and a final project. Supply chain management for the performing arts, fundraising and sponsoring for the performing arts, cultural policies, community engagement, festivals as production models, and more Curriculum Topics: Cultural policy; community engagement; human resources and company organization; performing arts marketing; communication and advertising; theatre arts and trades; contract negotiation, and many others. Program Partners: Piccolo Teatro di Milano with the advocacy of Opera Europa, an international service organization representing more than 150 renowned opera houses and festivals. Program size: 35 participants Eligibility To be considered for the full-tuition scholarship, applicants must complete the application on Politecnico di Milano’s website and be accepted to the Master’s Degree in Performing Arts Management. The scholarship recipient will be chosen from a pool of applicants accepted to the program. No additional application must be completed.
